Jace has written about and covered athletes and stories throughout sports while developing experience in reporting, interviewing and sports storytelling.

Sam LeSueur is a Utah-based football writer and sports personality focused on covering athletes, recruiting and football throughout the state.

Through his football coverage and The Sam LeSueur Show, Sam has interviewed college football players, recruits, former standouts and University of Utah commitments, giving athletes a platform to discuss their journeys, recruiting decisions and experiences within the game.

At The Connect Sport, Sam helps lead our growing Utah football coverage while bringing original stories, interviews, recruiting coverage and a local perspective to the platform.

Alyssa Mejia is a USC alumna and Inland Empire native with experience across sports journalism, reporting, content creation, sports media, operations and entertainment.

Throughout her media career, Alyssa has covered and created content surrounding USC football, USC athletes, Oregon football, college athletics and professional sports. Her background also includes experience working with NFL All-Pro Terron Armstead and The Sesh Show.

She has experience in written journalism, athlete interviews, reporting, social media, on-camera content, digital storytelling, sports operations and entertainment.

Alyssa also created Locker Room Talk, a TikTok-based sports platform combining sports conversation, athlete storytelling, culture and digital media.

Her versatility and experience across multiple areas of the industry make her an important addition to The Connect Sport as we continue expanding our coverage throughout the Inland Empire, Southern California and nationally.
